My carefully observed, lived experience as a 'bad girl' revealed this truth. During two decades spent navigating the shadowy corners of Western society—the so-called underbelly where women are often warned not to tread—I uncovered a wealth of hidden truths and esoteric secrets. These experiences, from dancing naked before drunken men to embracing all that the darkness brought, offered me a unique perspective on the raw psychological elements shaping our collective masculine and feminine consciousness. This journey piqued my deep curiosity and aligned me with a deeper purpose I hadn't fully recognized, leading me to embrace this path wholeheartedly.

The Birth of The Lilith Academy

This profound exploration ultimately culminated in the creation of The Lilith Academy (TLA), a bespoke, boutique, unique online esoteric academy specifically designed as shadow work for Western women. My time immersed in the underworld shed light on not only the deep-seated issues stemming from colonial attitudes prevalent among Western men but also the resulting inner tensions that Western women endure. These challenges are often deeply ingrained, existing beneath the surface of our awareness.

A significant source of this inner conflict is the clash between our natural selves and the civilized identity society demands of us. This clash urges us to deny and even vilify our true nature, bodies, desires, thoughts, and yearning for magic, adventure, and a richer, more magical life experience. It's a feminine war within that mirrors our struggle with the masculine—an ancient, perpetual battle that saps our energy and diminishes our creative spirit and joy.

Lilith isn't the demoness or succubus Abrahamic religion makes her out to be. She's nature itself, raw and untamed! Her story, deep-rooted in Jewish folklore, introduces us to the original woman, made from Adam's soil, placing her squarely at his side as his equal. This isn't about the later, more compliant Eve, Adam's biblical second wife born of his reflection. Lilith stands as a figure of strength, sovereign wisdom, and independence.

When it came down to it, Lilith chose her freedom and dignity over being diminished, opting for exile rather than enduring disrespect. Her saga highlights the push and pull between masculine and feminine energies. Still, it digs even deeper, revealing a struggle within the essence of Western femininity, symbolized by the stark differences between Eve and Lilith. It mirrors the ongoing debate in our collective consciousness, especially in Western culture, where the fight isn't just external between men and women but also an internal battle within us women—to embrace our wild, original selves.

We need to stop playing by the old rules, knocking on doors built by men, hoping they'll invite us in when we've got our own powerful spaces just waiting to be brought back to life. I'm honestly tired of watching women line up at the doorsteps of institutional boys' clubs in religion, the occult world, and beyond, hoping to be let into spaces that were never designed with us in mind.

Reclaiming Our Authority

Why keep looking for a nod of approval, a sign of respect, or an invitation from them? We must remember that we—women—were always supposed to lead the way back to humanity's spiritual heart. We are the sacred initiators of the great mysteries. But, from the very start, men have been hoarding the secrets that are rightfully ours, speaking for the feminine, leaving us disconnected from our sacred initiations and primordial truths.

Challenging the Status Quo

Look around—whether it's religion, science, or those secretive circles and societies, it's always been about seeing things from a man's (masculine) perspective, even when it comes to understanding the feminine mysteries. It's like we've been written out of our own story, turned into objects to be studied. It's always about HIM trying to decipher HER, while SHE has always been meant to know it herself. Because of our long history of being cut off from our deep, esoteric knowledge, many of us don't even realize that we're the true keepers of wisdom, meant to open the doors, not knock on them.

We may intuit it, but now what? As the modern world slowly starts to wake up to the richness of mystical knowledge again, the once men-only gates are beginning to creak open. We don't need their permission. We're on our path now, reawakening who we are, diving deep into our essence, and asking big questions about our roles and power.

Have you noticed that it's hard to find stories that celebrate a woman just stepping into her own without first having to fight through layers of trauma or break free from what men or a male-dominated society have laid out for us? Our journeys and heroics are missing from the narrative unless their journey mimics the masculine's. What if we started asking what our journey looks like when it's not about healing from these wounds? What's our true quest, fueled by our sovereign wisdom and strength, not just a reaction to being overlooked or abused?

We've been following maps drawn up for a different journey, not one that mirrors the feminine. We need our own story—the Sovereign Woman's story. It's about seeing the difference between adhering to a script that offers shallow cultural equality and breaking free entirely to find something more genuine. We're at a turning point. It's time for us to channel our inner Lilith, shed the old, toxic ways, stop waiting for approval from a system that never really served us, and reclaim the profound, sacred knowledge that's been ours all along. This means facing up to how we've been taught to see the divine natural world and starting to rewrite those relationships on our own terms.

Humankind's War with Nature
Humankind has always been at war with nature. This profound truth is the foundation of all aspects of our civilization—from religion to science and more. This conflict is also what's at the very primordial root of our collective psychosis. All at once, we are fearful, jealous, and in awe of nature. And yet, despite our feelings, nature's unchanging laws remain steadfast. The sun and moon don't cease their cycles for our feelings or beliefs. Water remains wet. Fire remains hot. Despite how desperately we want to fly, gravity remains.
The Relief in Nature's Constancy
But there is a relief in this: The ancient elements and their truths are the only constants that have never deceived us. They exist as they are, never pretending to be what they're not. They show us the way of integrity. And this fascinates me. To know that in a world of pretenders, the sun will rise anyway makes me feel... better. It eases my existential angst.
Nature vs. Dogma
All religions profess to know The Only True Way. Still, every Priest, Preacher, Rabbinic, and Cleric must surrender their dogmas to the mountain, for the holy man must also live with the same natural laws as the beggar. These philosophical musings were inspired by nature's eternal nature.

In a quest to find my inner heroine to relieve my suffering, I landed here at the border of my inner sanctum, where Lilith met me at the gates of a feminine-centered philosophy, longing to awaken from its deep slumber.

To be ready means to be open to learning and unlearning. Science strives for objectivity, but in truth, nothing is completely objective. Questions themselves are deeply personal, influenced by our own experiences. Even when looking at the same thing, we can all come up with different questions.

The Feminine Perspective in Inquiry
​
This brings us to an interesting thought: What questions would she ask, and how might they stand out from the typical masculine perspective? It's worth noting that questions often carry hidden biases. So, what assumptions and knowledge are tucked into the feminine perspective that the masculine might miss?

Historical Bias in Philosophy
​
Throughout history, philosophy has leaned heavily male, as if the questions from a man's point of view were somehow more valuable. There's even a story about Athena, the goddess of wisdom, springing fully formed from the head of Zeus, which suggests something similar to the story of Adam and Eve: in myths, the feminine voice must reflect and validate the masculine's POV. We are out of balance.

Questioning the Narrative
​
It's time to question that narrative and give space to the voices and inquiries of the feminine perspective, especially the feminine outsider symbolized by Lilith in Western mythos. Unlike those who adhere strictly to the judgment of religious and political dogma, the philosopher embraces curiosity, always harboring a bit of uncertainty about her claimed knowledge. She welcomes the challenge of questioning underlying assumptions and notions of right and wrong.

Freedom from Rigid Frameworks
​
Rather than viewing reality through the rigid frameworks of politics or religion, she adopts a perspective that frees her from the weight of self-righteousness and the illusion of knowing it all. What a relief it is not to have all the answers! She says, "It's marvelous to have the opportunity to enrich my knowledge further, to build upon it, and to remain in awe of the vast expanse of truth still waiting to be discovered!"

Approaching the Sacred
​
Before approaching what is sacred, we need the courage to peel back and question the layers of inherited value judgments propagated by Abrahamic religion and political propaganda. In other words, rather than just washing our hands, we need to cleanse our minds before we begin thoroughly. It’s about humbling ourselves to either discover anew or recall, despite our spiritual amnesia, that nature's holiness doesn't depend on our recognition. It doesn't require priests' blessings to reclaim its sacredness. Nature's sacred secrets exist whether we witness them or not.

The Role of the Western Woman
​
As a Gnostic Priestess, all my years of devotion to this pursuit, grounded in theory and active application, have shown me that the Western woman must lead the way back to this truth. Yet, because of her position of power, the Western woman has the most work to do. By engaging in this profound internal work of unlearning and unbecoming, the Western woman reclaims her sacredness, restoring herself to purity and thereby resurrecting the divine feminine temple within herself before she can resurrect it outside of herself.

Living on the fringes of what's considered the typical Western female experience in several ways:
I've eschewed societal expectations—choosing not to have children, avoid corporate employment, remain unmarried, and even embrace sex work. These choices, along with other socioeconomic/cultural factors, have placed me in several positions of exile, and it's precisely from these vantage points that I've amassed a wealth of experiences and insights into a Lilith-like existence in our modern Eden.
Two decades later, I bring forward an organized synthesis, a treasure trove of hard-earned embodied knowledge, deeply committed to unlocking, integrating, and liberating the wild feminine consciousness within us all.
